About Maru Udon

Christopher Gunson found that his desire for fresh and affordable udon in Dubai was unmet. Faced with the absence of establishments crafting udon from scratch, Gunson embarked on a quest to create authentic Japanese Udon. This journey led to the establishment of Maru Udon, Dubai's inaugural noodle shop.

Maru Udon, known for serving the most authentic Japanese Udon in Dubai, boasts a charming Japanese manga aesthetic that blends playfulness with a commitment to delivering excellent food. The menu reflects a dedication to authenticity, with a focus on homemade noodles.
